To sign up for a recreation event

For most regular events, all you need to do is send an e-mail to rec@wacad.org with your name and the name of the event you wish to sign up for. You can only sign yourself up, though, so make sure your friends sign themselves up. For many events, the deadline for signing up is Friday at noon, though sometimes it is earlier.

For Outdoor Recrecreation activities:

You can sign up for most outdoor rec trips by sending an e-mail to outdoor@wacad.org, and you can see Mr. Jones if you have questions.

For Cultural Recreation activities:

For most of these events, you can sign up in person with Mrs. Wood.

To cancel a sign-up:

If you have previously signed up and change your mind, just send a second e-mail to rec@wacad.org (or outdoor@wacad.org for outdoor recreation trips) to let us know. This must be done before noon on Fridays, when the lists are finalized.

If you do not cancel a sign-up, and then you skip a trip you had signed up for, your allowance or account may end up being charged for the inconvenience. Beyond that, your ability to sign up for other recreation events might be restricted. Please try to make sure that you only sign for events you fully intend to go on, and communicate when your circumstances change.
