Wasatch Academy

Model UN

Our Objective:

The Model UN experiences offers Wasatch Academy students exceptional opportunities for academic, career, and personal growth especially for those interested in international affairs. Through the academic setting of this class, students will work together researching their country/IGO, relevant domestic and international issues, and learn about one of the most important international organizations in the world, the UN. Through the Model UN, Wasatch students will travel to the regional and national conferences as mock representatives of their assigned country/IGO. There they will experience real-life political negotiation, seeking solutions and consensus on pressing international issues including poverty, the environment and peace.
