Fall Dance at Wasatch

We are thrilled about the group of dancers we have at Wasatch Academy this year! The goal set for the participating students is that they all become better, more knowledgeable dancers. This includes knowledge of a variety of dance techniques, and that they become stronger and more aware of their body movement and more confident in their performing.

The Wasatch Dance Company, directed by Brittany Maxwell, did wonderful things last year. Not only did they improve leaps and bounds, they also did very well at the two competitions they attended, placing 1st at Spotlight Dance Cup and 2nd at Hollywood Vibe. Then freshman, Maddie Feldman, also received a platinum and 1st place with her solos.

This upcoming year the dance company will be competing in various events around Utah in the winter and spring. They will be attending one convention and two competitions as a company. Stay posted, once the competitions/conventions have set their schedules the dance company will be performing. Parents are encouraged to come out and support, especially if they are in the area.
